Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Washington is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients. You will manage front office tasks with professionalism and compassion, greeting patients, answering calls and directing inquiries, and supporting scheduling and registration.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant Certificate may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and manage front desk responsibilities.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and assist patients and families.
• Schedule appointments and manage registration and check-in.
• Process payments, charges, and batch balancing as needed.
• Operate basic office equipment with accuracy.
