Job summary

Cumberland Family Medical Center (CFMC) in Lawrenceburg, KY seeks a Medical Assistant to support providers and patients in primary care. You will assist in patient assessments, tests, and exams, and help maintain efficient, compassionate care across clinic activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant Program.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience preferred.
• Maintain required continuing education courses.

Responsibilities

• Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinic activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Complies with established patient care standards.
• Maintains established clinic policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
• Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations.
• Greets patients and escorts them to the exam room.
• Takes and records vital and patient medical information in chart.
