Job summary

Mercy Community Healthcare in Franklin, TN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our caring team. You will take vitals, assist with procedures, and support our patients throughout their visit.

As part of the primary care team, you will help coordinate appointments, handle basic phlebotomy tasks as needed, and ensure exam rooms and supplies are ready for every patient. Our goal is compassionate care for all in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification as a medical assistant or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain with 90 days of employment.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to use and document in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and clinical skills with diverse people.
• Commit to safety, infection control, and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and chief complaints; assist with patient procedures.
• Administer vaccines and collect required paperwork.
• Coordinate with the primary care team for appointments and labs.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and stock of medical supplies.
