Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers in Riverbank, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform nursing procedures and patient registration, reporting to the Clinic Supervisor. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Medical Assisting certificate from an accredited program Required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing procedures and patient registration tasks.
• Coordinates duties with Back Office Supervisor and licensed providers.
• Collects and records patient data for vital signs, height, weight and medical history.
• Administers medications and vaccines as directed.
• Performs specimen collection and in-house diagnostic tests.
• Assists in ambulation, procedures and patient education.
