Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program with externship (160 hours) or 1 year clinical medical assisting within past 5 years.
• Current BLS-C upon hire or by end of orientation.
• LPN/EMT or military trained personnel with clinical experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
