Job summary

Icco, Llc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Medical Assistant in Redmond, OR to join a patient‑focused team. You will prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs and history, and assist with procedures under providers' orders.

The role involves gathering specimens, drawing labs, administering injections, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while educating patients on care instructions. A high school diploma and active MA certification along with BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Current Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the listed programs is preferred; current BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable.
• Prepare and maintain exam/treatment rooms and medical supplies for procedures.
• Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and assist with wound management as ordered by providers.
• Collect blood, tissue, and other lab specimens; perform routine in-house testing and log results.
• Document basic patient care in EMR and schedule tests or follow-ups as applicable.
• Instruct patients and families on treatment and medication instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure seamless patient care and perform clinic opening/closing duties.
