Cowlitz Family Health Center is hiring a Medical Assistant to be the heartbeat of our healthcare team. You will assist in examinations, take vitals, and support physicians, ARNPs, or RNs in patient care in a welcoming clinic setting.

The role requires WA MA certification, BLS/CPR, and a high school diploma with medical assisting program completion; an associate degree is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a union-represented workplace.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid WA State Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
• High school diploma plus completion of medical assisting program; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under supervision of a medical provider.
• Assist physician/ARNP or RN with direct patient care.
• Room patients, take vitals, record chief complaints, and assist with minor surgeries/procedures.
