Job summary

Providence Express Care OR Lombard in Portland, OR is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care and operations. The role includes clinical tasks alongside front desk duties, with a base pay range shown for this on-site position.

Qualified candidates will have MA training or apprenticeship, and at least 6 months of healthcare experience, plus BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
Graduate of MA apprenticeship program.
Two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
At least one year of MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medications.
BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
Minimum 6 months healthcare experience.
Minimum 6 months MA experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with exams and procedures.
Administer medications and perform tests under supervision.
Handle front desk duties: patient registration, insurance billing and cashiering.
