Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred for this role.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant Certificate is preferred; BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and outpatient lab procedures is essential.
• Ability to translate English to Spanish (and vice versa) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows all PCMH policies and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Prepares patients for examination and performs CLIA waived testing.
• Supports clinical tasks to promote efficient workflow.
• Safely prepares and administers injections and medications.
• Report to scheduled work sites; shifts may change at supervisor's discretion.
