Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and support clinic operations. You will enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR, request medical records, and help manage patient flow, vitals, and documentation.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accurate paperwork, and positive patient service. Candidates should be able to work in a team, follow instructions, and adapt to a flexible schedule in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication, including customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Flexible schedule and ability to handle stressful conditions.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Healthcare knowledge and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request and organize patient medical records as directed.
• Maintain patient flow and record vital signs and history.
• Prepare forms and requisitions; ensure patient charts are complete.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance; protect confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist with examinations, injections, and documentation.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and stock supplies; manage equipment.
• Relay provider orders to patients and staff; communicate professionally.
