Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills, data entry and typing.
• Knowledge of confidentiality requirements per HIPAA and Variety Care policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete the clinical intake requirements, including measuring and recording patient information in the EMR.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction and documents in the EMR.
• Collects patient specimens following established protocols.
• Supports patient safety and clinic flow per policies and procedures.
• Uses EMR to complete assigned tasks accurately and timely.
• Communicates with patients, providers and team members effectively.
• Escalates patient concerns appropriately.
• May float within the clinic to maintain business continuity.
