Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist physicians during procedures.
• Collect phlebotomy samples and perform basic waived lab tests.
• Prepare and administer medications; manage dressings and sutures.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and ensure OSHA safety standards.
• Process patient messages and relay information to the physician.
