ChenMed is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians at our Mount Airy location. You will measure vitals, record history, prepare patients for exams, and assist with procedures under supervision.

Your role includes collecting specimens, performing basic lab tests, and communicating patient needs to the care team. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma and relevant program completion, plus BLS certification.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsabilidades

• Measure and record patient vital signs.
• Record patient interview and medical history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinicians.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Collect phlebotomy and other lab specimens; perform basic waived lab tests.
• Prepare and administer medications; assist with treatments under physician supervision.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and OSHA safety standards.
• Process patient messages and relay information to physicians.
