Advocare, LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will provide direct patient care and support to providers, performing both clinical and administrative duties in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA guidelines is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks, including obtaining and documenting patient medical histories and answering and directing phone calls.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and summarizing patient history for providers.
• Set up and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms for clinical examinations.
• Communicate physician instructions to patients and answer basic questions regarding treatment and care.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout their visit.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Assist providers and clinical staff as needed; support overall clinic operations.
