Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care in Sarasota, FL seeks a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care, handling both administrative duties and clinical tasks. You will work closely with physicians and clinicians to ensure high-quality care, including patient intake, vital signs, and specimen collection.

The role requires MA training or certification, CPR, and a high school diploma. Experience in phlebotomy and value-based care knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an MA training program or be Certified/Registered as Medical Assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and discuss symptoms.
• Obtain vital signs and document in EMR.
• Administer medications and vaccines as permitted by certification.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Conduct diagnostic screenings and prepare exam rooms.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain clinical areas.
• Support efficient clinic operations and documentation.
