Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care, providing both administrative and clinical support. You will assist with patient intake, discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs and help prepare exam rooms in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role requires MA education or certification, CPR, and willingness to participate in Humana TB screening. Fluently bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• MA school or certified/registered MA; 5+ years of experience may be considered with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certification.
• This role is patient facing and part of Humana TB screening program; TB screening is required if selected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and discuss symptoms; obtain vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccines as permitted by certification.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct diagnostic screenings.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms; sterilize equipment; document patient information in EMR.
• Support clinic operations and contribute to a positive patient experience.
