Job summary

Humana Inc. CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Mulberry, GA seeks a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative tasks, assisting physicians, preparing examination rooms, taking vital signs, and coordinating patient care.

You will perform patient intake, document health history, manage records, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or RMA with unrestricted license.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: Athena Phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Processes incoming and outgoing calls/messages professionally.
• Performs patient intake and updates patient records.
• Assists clinician during treatments, examinations and procedures.
• Prepares exam rooms, sanitizes equipment, and stocks supplies.
• Documents patient data, treatments and education per policies.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates testing/consultations.
