Job summary

StrideCare is hiring a dedicated Medical Assistant to support outpatient clinic operations. You will greet patients, take vitals, and assist with procedures while ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of records. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly valued.

You will manage room readiness, stock supplies, and coordinate daily patient flow with RN/PA teams. A CMA/RMA-aptitude and Medical Assistant program completion are preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; MA program completion required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required; CMA/RMA preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Record vitals: height, weight, BP, pulse, respiration, temp.
• Measure and fit compression stockings; assist with donning.
• Take before/after photos of patients.
• Prepare rooms, assist with procedures, and manage supplies.
• Support RN/PA; prepare medications and syringes as allowed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and coordinate patient flow.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and manage medical records in EHR.
• Train new staff and assist with scheduling and communications.
