Job summary

StrideCare in McKinney, TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for outpatient care. The role supports clinical and administrative tasks, greets patients, records vitals, assists with procedures, and helps maintain efficient patient flow.

You will work with RNs and PAs, ensure HIPAA compliance, and provide compassionate patient service while supporting room preparation and supply management. Strong bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Record patient vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
• Measure and fit compression stockings and assist with donning.
• Take before and after pictures.
• Maintain autoclave spore compliance records.
• Assist with medical supply inventory and manage records in medical software.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
