Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during patient visits and support the provider.
• Prepare patients and room for visits and ensure readiness for the provider.
• Answer patient questions and document information accurately.
• Provide excellent patient service via phone and in person.
• Complete patient registration and required documentation as needed.
• Maintain clinical knowledge and credentials through ongoing development.
• Respect privacy and adapt communication for diverse patient populations.
• Perform related duties as required.
