Job summary

StrideCare in Addison, TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a busy outpatient clinic. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and support the care team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; CMA/RMA preferred, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year of clinic experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred; BLS required within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a physician’s office or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Record vitals: height, weight, BP, pulse, respiration, temp.
• Assist with compression stockings fitting and application.
• Take before and after patient photos.
• Prepare rooms and assist with procedures.
• Support inventory and autoclave compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and handling of medical records.
• Coordinate clinic flow and day-to-day scheduling.
• Cross-train and cover other clinics as needed.
