Job summary

StrideCare in Midland, TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support outpatient care with a patient-centric approach. The role combines clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experience.

You will greet patients, record vitals, assist with procedures, prep rooms, manage supplies, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records in Athena EHR. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• CMA or RMA certification is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification current or obtainable within 30 days.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Obtain and record patient vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
• Measure and fit patients for compression stockings and assist with putting them on.
• Take before and after pictures of patients.
• Maintain autoclave spore compliance records.
• Assist with medical supply inventory management and medical management software.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient records per HIPAA.
• Coordinate day-to-day clinic traffic to maintain patient flow.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork across clinics.
