Job summary

The Queen’s Health Systems in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support patient care in an outpatient setting. You will perform patient care duties under supervision and in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.

Qualifications include completion of a Medical Assistant program, eligibility for certification, current BLS/HCP, pharmacology knowledge, English proficiency, and at least one year of outpatient MA experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and eligible for certification.
• Current certification in BLS/HCP.
• Satisfactory completion of a pharmacology course work or work experience to demonstrate knowledge in pharmacology.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting preferred.
