Arizona Center for Cancer Care is seeking compassionate Medical Assistants to join our growing team. This role supports physicians, maintains exam rooms, and delivers patient-focused care across multiple sites within the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Applicants must have Medical Assistant certification, CPR, and a high school diploma; experience with EMR and strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential for ensuring safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Record patient histories, vital signs, and clinical information in EMR.
• Interview patients and prepare them for examination.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with ambulation and positioning.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures as directed.
• Process prescription refill requests and electronic prescriptions per provider instructions.
• Coordinate and schedule diagnostic testing and appointments as needed.
• Obtain prior authorizations from insurance carriers as required.
• Maintain inventory and restock examination rooms; manage supplies.
