Job summary

Primary Health Medical Group in Idaho's Treasure Valley is seeking an MA/LPN/RN for a part-time position. Pay starts at $18.25/hour and depends on experience.

You will assist in examinations, perform venipuncture, manage patient flow, and support both clinical and front-office duties while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. The ideal candidate has completed a nationally accredited MA program and holds an Idaho license for LPN/RN, with strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nationally accredited MA program (EMT certification and experience/Military medical training and experience will be considered).
• LPNs and RNs must have a current license from the Idaho Board of Nursing.
• Venipuncture skills.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Customer service-oriented attitude/behavior.
• Computer proficiency. Ability to use applicable software as required.
• Recommended vaccines to include annual influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician, including casting, bracing, and injections.
• Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination, including sterilization and equipment checks.
• Prepare basic laboratory tests on-premises and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Perform phlebotomy and proper collection, labeling, and processing of specimens.
• Assist the back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer service.
• Provide quality customer service and patient education based on assessment of needs.
• Perform tests and procedures as ordered.
• Accurately document patient encounters and interventions performed.
• Relay provider instructions to patients.
• Assist with non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking, scanning records, mailing).
• Aid in identifying methods of improving patient care.
• Assist Front Office Staff in managing details of patients, schedules, and referrals.
• Assist or lead in emergency situations.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions (HIPAA).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
