Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Assistant to support clinicians and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience for patients at 100 Blossom Street. You will welcome patients, collect vital signs, prepare exam rooms, document histories, and assist with coordinating care.

You’ll work with physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff, maintain a safe clinical environment, and use an electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification and CMA/MA credentials preferred.
• EMT-Basic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to provide excellent patient service.
