Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in West Hartford seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to greet patients, escort to rooms, take vital signs, and document histories in the EMR. You will support providers and maintain a welcoming practice flow.

Responsibilities include room prep, collecting patient history, charting, lab result processing, and assisting front desk tasks. The role offers full-time hours and day shift with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience required.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam rooms and prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Obtains pertinent history, records chief complaint, medical history, allergies, medications, and vital signs.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic test results and clinical notes in the chart after physician review.
• Coordinates patient flow and supports front office tasks such as scheduling.
