Job summary

Denver Health's Webb Adult Clinic is seeking a mission-driven Medical Assistant (MA) to support providers and nursing staff. The role covers back office duties, immunizations, EKGs, patient scheduling, and record-keeping to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate will hold a clinical MA diploma or CCMA and/or an active LPN license, with BLS CPR certification preferred. This position is regular, with an hourly wage of $21.00–$26.26, and offers standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of a clinical Medical Assistant training program resulting in a diploma or CCMA, or a registered apprentice program certificate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active LPN license required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and basic health data; identify abnormal findings and communicate to provider.
• Assist with procedures; administer medications and immunizations; obtain EKGs and schedule tests and follow-ups.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during examinations and minor procedures.
• Coordinate clerical information for patient care including referrals, appointments, and medical records.
