Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care’s Indy West clinic seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support direct patient care and clinical workflows. You will report to the Center Administrator and contribute to high-quality care by collecting histories, performing exams, and documenting in the EMR.

Required MA training and 3+ years of experience, high school diploma, CPR certification, and TB screening compliance. Preferred: phlebotomy, vaccine administration, 1+ year MA experience, and Bilingual

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certified.
• Meet patient-facing role requirements, including participation in our TB screening program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccines following protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens.
• Prepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipment.
• Document patient information in the EMR system.
