Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or diploma in Medical Assistant preferred.
• 3-5 years of Medical Assistant or similar experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and Diagnostic Imaging exams; perform lab callbacks and prior authorizations.
• Retrieve medical histories and complete patient paperwork and forms.
• Answer and return phone calls; assist patients during visits.
• Collect patient data (vital signs) and document in EMR.
• Assist with physical exam preparation, EKGs, dressings, and venipuncture.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control.
• Order and restock supplies; provide patient education.
• Perform CPR in emergencies.
