Job summary

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health in El Paso, TX, invites applications for a Medical Assistant. Under supervision, you support participant care in the clinic, perform vital signs, glucose checks, EKGs, venipuncture, and screen tests with proper EMR documentation.

You will coordinate lab draws, assist with transportation, and ensure timely communication with the Clinic Manager and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; prior senior-care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• One year experience with a frail or elderly population preferred.
• Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries out PCP orders to include blood glucose checks and EKGs.
• Obtains vital signs and weights; documents results in the EMR.
• Coordinates lab draws and ensures timely lab results.
• Coordinates with transportation and reschedules appointments as needed.
• Maintains clean exam rooms and restocks supplies.
