A leading urgent care provider in Virginia is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to provide general medical care in an outpatient clinic setting. You will be responsible for obtaining patient vitals, explaining procedures, administering medications, and performing lab tests. The ideal candidate has an associate's degree or equivalent and relevant experience. Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
• AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and prepare the patient for exams.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients.
