Job summary

Valle del Sol, Inc. is seeking Medical Assistants I–III to support family practice, pediatrics, and behavioral health in our Phoenix clinic. You will prepare patients, collect histories, assist providers, and document in the EHR to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or current MA certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to complete credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive care.
• Must obtain or possess a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments and procedures.
• Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers during exams and treatments.
• Administer immunizations and collect specimens.
• Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and follow-up care.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care.
