Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in both clinical and administrative duties. You will perform patient intake, document health histories, and assist with treatments and procedures in a patient-facing role.

The position requires CMA or RMA credentials, CPR/BLS certification within 90 days, and 3+ years of healthcare experience. Knowledge of Athena EMR is preferred, with opportunities to participate in quality initiatives and systemwide workflow

Qualifications

• Active CMA or RMA certification is required.
• CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider Certification within 90 days of employment.
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and collect necessary information.
• Perform clinical tasks under clinician supervision during procedures.
• Document patient data and treatment in the EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Assist clinicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient communications.
