Qualifications

• Assists physicians with daily activities and patient care.
• Maintains patient records and tracking forms.
• Interacts with patients and families to provide information.

Responsibilities

• Documents all lab, procedures, and appointments on tracking forms.
• Completes tracking forms and follows up on missed appointments.
• Assists Health Coaches by scheduling and managing patient lists.
• Provides patient education as directed by the provider.
• Performs telephone triage and advises patients per provider instructions.
• Receives and returns patient calls within 90 minutes as prioritized.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Handles prescription renewals/inquiries and relays information to pharmacy.
• Ensures age-appropriate care as outlined in Age Specific Criteria.
• Completes Age Specific Quiz annually.
• Prepares exam rooms and equipment for treatment and examinations.
• Prepares patients and rooms for provider exams, weighing patients and checking vital signs.
