Aurora Medical Group (AMG) within Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant at our Aurora, IL location. You will support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a Medical Assistant diploma or two years MA experience (or MA certification), and preferably phlebotomy skills. The schedule is 36 hours per week with three shifts and rotating holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
