Aurora Medical Group (AMG), part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant for an ambulatory care setting in Downers Grove, IL. The role supports the care team, handles vital signs, histories, and help with procedures, vaccines, and documentation in the EHR.

Requirements include a medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience (or CMA with 2 years MA experience) and a high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy skills are preferred. Travel between AMG sites is possible.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
• Support providers, connect with patients, and ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
• Welcome patients and support transition into care; take vital signs, histories, and screenings; prepare for exams; assist during procedures; administer medications/vaccines; perform lab tasks and point-of-care testing; document in EHR; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality care.
