Bon Secours Ambulatory Services St. Francis, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide indirect and direct patient care under physician supervision.

You will document patient needs, measure vitals, and assist with basic procedures while ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, enrollment in an approved MA program within 30 days of employment, and MA certification within 12 months (or ABR-OE).

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in approved Medical Assistant program within 30 days of employment.
• Active MA certification within 12 months of start date or ABR-OE alternative (SC restrictions).
• BLS Basic Life Support required on hire for some Bon Secours locations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist provider with patient care and document chief complaints and vitals.
• Identify changes in patient condition and report to the provider.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues to supervisor or internal resources.
• Maintain standards of care and departmental competency guidelines.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
