Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for St. Francis Downtown in Greenville, SC. The role supports the primary care physician in delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining health records, and preparing treatment spaces for examinations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, chart reviews, vital signs, and routine clerical tasks. Active CMA or MA certification, BLS, and healthcare experience are preferred; benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Formación

• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the following (required): CMA; RMA; CCMA; NRCMA; NCMA; ABR-OE (not in SC)
• BLS Basic Life Support required at hire for Bon Secours Mercy Health locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care at some locations

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner to provide excellent customer service
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying diagnostic tests, hospital reports, and other medical records
• Measure vital signs such as pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height
• Perform clerical duties such as checking inventory, stocking supplies, tracking referrals, and answering phones
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly; perform other duties as assigned
