Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) in Raleigh to support residents with medication administration and daily living activities. You will work as part of a nurturing team to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being for residents while upholding care plans.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months of medication administration experience, a valid state med administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP), and current First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Coordinate medication re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and promote engagement.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
