Job summary

Monarch Communities seeks a Med Tech to support resident health by providing medication administration assistance according to care plans and physician orders. Reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, this hourly role emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and teamwork in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Completed Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regs.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Observes & reports changes in residents' conditions to Supervisor.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to resident and maintain related medical records under supervision of the RN/LPN.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide resident care to meet care plan needs.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents.
