Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Med Tech to provide limited lay administration of medication to residents. The role is full-time with 30+ hours per week, paying ${22}–${23} per hour. CNA or HHA certification is required, with LLAM curriculum completing supported by ongoing training.

Reports to the Wellness Director; non-exempt, hourly position. Responsibilities include medication administration under the care plan, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance while preserving

Qualifications

• Must complete LLAM core curriculum and any applicable program modules.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under the delegation of the Administrator including supervision of the RN/LPN.
• Complies with annual medication training and company training modules.
• Provide resident care to ensure care needs are met according to the resident’s care plan.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity in the delivery of services to residents.
• Participate in and attend all in-service training as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned, including care tasks/assignments as needed and delegated.
