Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Hershey, PA is seeking a Med Technician for a full-time evening shift (3pm–11pm) to deliver quality care, assist with daily living activities, and support medication administration within regulatory guidelines.

The role requires CNA and Med Tech licenses, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), and attendance at medication trainings. You will document in EMAR/MAR and collaborate with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicate resident status and updates to the HCD and document in Daily Log.
• Assist new residents with move-in and provide emotional support.
• Document all medication administration on EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
