Job summary

Rochester Regional Health seeks a Mammo Tech who delivers excellent patient care while obtaining high-quality mammography images. You will position patients, ensure comfort and safety, and assist radiologists during procedures, following ALARA principles and ACR standards.

Requires ARRT-R/Advanced Mammography, NYS licensure or permit, and strong customer service. Per diem schedule at the Imaging Center with flexibility to cover shifts and locations within the system.

Qualifications

• Attention to patient comfort and safety during mammography.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use imaging software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening, diagnostic, and mammographic procedures as needed.
• Monitors image quality to ensure alignment with ACR standards.
• Assists radiologists during mammography procedures.
• Maintains documentation in RIS/PACS and charts.
• Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms; participates in QA activities.
