Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations according to established protocols.
• Position patients and select technical factors to produce optimal diagnostic image quality.
• Assist the radiologist with breast interventional procedures such as biopsies and localizations.
• Maintain compliance with MQSA, accreditation and quality assurance requirements.
• Perform routine equipment quality control testing and report faults promptly.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support throughout the examination.
