Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or LVT-Eligible Technician for an in-person role in White Bear Lake, MN. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of clinical experience and will assist with surgeries, dental procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and client education.

Responsibilities include record-keeping, sterilization, inventory management, and back-up support for the client service team, with a 4-day workweek and rotating Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of veterinary clinical experience.
• Mn LVT license in good standing OR LVT-eligible pursuing licensure.
• Knowledge of pharmacology, diseases, and preventive care.
• Strong animal handling and patient-care skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records for medications and controlled substances.
• Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Stock examination rooms and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient boarding and support client service team.
• Follow OSHA and DEA requirements.
