Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Abliene, Texas seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a hospital setting. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care ensuring patient comfort, safety and well-being under the direction of RNs and physicians.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document in the EHR, support admissions and discharges, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Perform patient assessments and document observations accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the RN/physician.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan care.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards.
