Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time role in Antelope, CA. The LVN will provide nursing care, administer medications, monitor health, and advocate for residents in accordance with their care plans.

Responsibilities include collaborating with a care team, assisting with daily living activities, and participating in community outings while maintaining confidentiality and safety. A CA LVN license and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Diploma or GED required with LVN licensure; CPI certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with medication administration, G-tube care, injections, wound care and nursing procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and follow the five rights of medication administration.
• Audit medications during each cycle and verify orders and rights.
• Attend residents' medical appointments and communicate concerns to the physician and care team.
• Monitor and document health status and report significant changes.
• Assess wounds and assist with dressing changes and breathing treatments.
