Job summary

The LVN will apply the nursing process to meet physical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and assist in determining predictable health needs for common conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current Texas LVN licensure.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Experience in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education in ambulatory clinics under supervision.
• Utilize nursing process to meet physical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Coordinate care between the healthcare team to optimize patient understanding.
• Assist in determining predictable healthcare needs of clients with common health problems.
• Operate equipment such as IV pumps and vital signs monitor.
