Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN license.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents daily to assess physical and emotional status and notify the charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing when changes occur.
• Identify problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures if a physician is unavailable.
• Provide holistic care within the LPN scope.
• Monitor medications, supplies and equipment to ensure availability for residents.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as needed.
• Report occupational exposures per facility policies.
